Terms and Conditions

1. 

Rental Requirements

  • All renters and authorized drivers must be at least 25 years old.
  • A valid driver’s license (with no major violations) must be presented at the time of rental.
  • A major credit card is required for the security deposit and rental payment.
  • Proof of full-coverage insurance must be provided. Additional insurance may be purchased.

2. 

Security Deposit

  • A security deposit ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 (depending on the vehicle) is required before the vehicle is released.
  • The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in the same condition it was rented, subject to inspection.

3. 

Rental Period

  • Rentals are billed on a 24-hour basis. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • Extensions must be approved in writing. Unauthorized extensions may result in additional daily fees and/or repossession.

4. 

Mileage Allowance

  • Rentals include a specific mileage limit (e.g., 100 miles/day). Exceeding this will result in an additional fee (e.g., $3.00 per mile).
  • Unlimited mileage is not available for exotic or luxury rentals unless otherwise agreed.

5. 

Vehicle Usage

  • Track use, street racing, off-roading, towing, or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking, vaping, or the use of any substance inside the vehicle is prohibited. A cleaning fee of $500 will apply if violated.
  • The vehicle must only be driven by the authorized renter(s) listed on the rental agreement.

6. 

Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when rented. If not, a refueling fee will apply, which may exceed standard gas station rates.

7. 

Delivery & Pick-Up

  • CM Motors LC offers delivery and pick-up services for an additional fee, based on location and vehicle class.

8. 

Accidents, Damage, and Theft

  • The renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.
  • In the event of an accident, the renter must contact CM Motors LC and the local authorities immediately.
  • Renters must cooperate fully with insurance and police investigations.

9. 

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours are subject to a 50% charge.
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full rental amount.

10. 

Mechanical Issues

  • If a mechanical issue arises not caused by the renter, CM Motors LC will provide a replacement vehicle or issue a partial refund, at its discretion.

11. 

Prohibited Activities

  • No use of the vehicle outside the continental United States without prior written consent.
  • No subleasing or transfer of the rental agreement.
  • No rideshare, delivery, or commercial transport use without prior approval.

12. 

Liability and Indemnity

  • CM Motors LC is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the rental period.
  • The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CM Motors LC, its owners, and agents from any claims arising out of the renter’s use of the vehicle.

13. 

Right to Refuse Service

  • CM Motors LC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to concerns regarding creditworthiness, driving history, or compliance with company policies.

14. 

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. 

Return and Refund Policy

1. Rental Return Policy

1.1 Standard Return

  • All vehicles must be returned on or before the scheduled return date and time.
  • Returns must be made at the original pickup location or an approved return location as agreed upon in writing.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was rented, excluding normal wear.
  • A walk-around inspection will be completed at the time of return. Any damage, excessive wear, or evidence of misuse may result in additional charges.

1.2 Early Returns

  • No refund or credit is provided for early returns, unless agreed to in advance under a flexible rental agreement.
  • CM Motors LC reserves the right to apply a minimum rental charge (typically 1–3 days) regardless of early return.

1.3 Late Returns

  • A grace period of 30 minutes is allowed for returns.
  • Returns after the grace period may be subject to additional hourly or daily rental charges, as detailed in your rental agreement.
  • Unauthorized late returns beyond 24 hours may be reported as unauthorized use and handled accordingly.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Cancellations

  • 72 hours or more before the rental start time: Full refund.
  • 48–72 hours before the rental start time: 50% refund.
  • Less than 48 hours before rental start time or no-shows: No refund.

Note: Refunds are only issued to the original payment method.

2.2 Vehicle Unavailability

  • If a reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, accident, or unforeseen event:

    • A comparable replacement vehicle will be offered.
    • If a suitable replacement cannot be provided, a full refund will be issued.

2.3 Unsatisfactory Conditions

  • If a renter receives a vehicle that is not in satisfactory condition (excluding minor cosmetic issues), they must report it within 1 hour of receiving the vehicle.
  • CM Motors LC will inspect and, if warranted, issue a partial refund or offer an alternative vehicle.

3. Non-Refundable Charges

The following fees are non-refundable:

  • Security deposit deductions (if damage or policy violations occurred)
  • Late return fees
  • Excess mileage charges
  • Refueling charges
  • Smoking or cleaning fees
  • Towing or impound fees due to renter negligence

4. Security Deposit

  • The security deposit will be refunded within 5–10 business days after vehicle inspection, less any deductions for damages, cleaning, fuel, or other fees.
  • Delays may occur depending on your bank’s processing time.

5. Refund Processing

  • All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during booking.
  • Refunds typically reflect within 5–10 business days depending on your financial institution.
